SQUID3 Space delivered a feasibility study and prototype of an AI-powered cobot platform under a six-month SBIR Phase I contract with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), aimed at improving operational efficiency in Army depots.

Threat Awareness Sensing Blankets

SQUID3 Space investigated a piezoelectric-based active threat awareness sensor that integrates seamlessly with MLI blankets. Paired with machine learning it can detect and characterize a range of hypervelocity impact events, including lasers, directed energy beams, hostile satellite interactions, and space debris.

Materials International Space Station Experiment (MISSE)

SQUID3 Space is flying several active and passive material payloads on ISS MISSE-21 (2025) and MISSE-23 (2027), including a series of pre-and post-flight materials characterization activities using UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, FTIR, SEM, TEM, and XPS.
