Silver Kapton® Polyimide film is a high-performance film manufactured for space, cryogenic, and optical applications. In space-based applications, SQUID3's AgPI film is suitable for use as a single-layer Flexible Optical Solar Reflector (FOSR). It is ideal for medium-to-long duration missions with an operating temperature range of -269°C to 290°C.

Film thickness is available in 1, 2, 5 mil. Maximum film width is 38 inches. This product meets NASA requirements for low thermal vacuum outgassing (ASTM E-595) where TML <1.0% and CVCM <0.1%.
