Aluminized Kapton®, also known as PI or polyimide film, is implemented as internal MLI layers, outermost MLI layer, and single-layer insulation. It an exceptional operating temperature range of -250°C to 290°C. This product is perforated to provide venting paths during launch and ascent. Aluminization can be single-sided or double-sided. Each lot ships with full material traceability and certificate of analysis.
