Silver Teflon® FEP tape is a high-performance radiator film manufactured for space, cryogenic, and optical applications. In space-based applications, SQUID3's Ag/FEP tape is suitable for use as a single-layer Flexible Optical Solar Reflector (FOSR). It is ideal for LEO missions with operating temperatures ranging from -150°C to 125°C. This FOSR features an SiO₂ coating to mitigate atomic oxygen (AO) erosion, followed by an electrically conductive Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) coating to control spacecraft surface charging.
