Aluminized Kapton®, also known as PI or polyimide film, is suitable for use in internal MLI layers, as an outermost MLI layer, or as a single-layer Flexible Optical Solar Reflector (FOSR). It is ideal for medium-to-long duration missions with an operating temperature range of -269°C to 290°C. This product can be perforated and embossed. Aluminization can be single-sided or double-sided.
