SQUID3 wins 2nd Place in S-Booster 2023, Hosted by JAXA and Japan's Cabinet Office

SQUID3 Space has earned the distinguished runner-up prize at the sixth annual S-Booster, Japan's premier space startup competition. Launched in 2017 by the Cabinet Office of Japan, S-Booster has been pivotal in promoting the growth of new space economy within the region.

Out of the 150+ startup teams that applied, SQUID3 distinguished itself and was awarded the Special Judge's Prize (審査員特別賞), following a highly competitive evaluation process that included document reviews and two rounds of presentations by a judging panel of three industry experts, three investors, and one former astronaut.


Warren Su, CEO of SQUID3 Space, pitched at the final round in Tokyo, Japan on November 16th, 2023.

S-Booster 2023 was co-hosted by JAXA, SPACETIDE and GISTDA, and sponsored by SONY, ANA, HONDA, Mitsui, SkyPerfect JSAT, Shiseido, etc.

Additionally, SQUID3 has earned an invitation to the AXELA space accelerator program by the SPACETIDE Foundation, an opportunity exclusively reserved for the top three finalists of S-Booster.
