SQUID3 Space has enhanced its capacity and prepared its supply chain for high-volume production of radiation-resistant Optical Solar Reflectors (OSR). "In the first quarter of 2026, we anticipate producing and shipping 16,000 tiles," stated Warren Su, CEO of SQUID3 Space. The tiles will have a standard size of 2 x 2 inches (50 x 50 mm) and a thickness of 150 µm. The glass substrate is a cerium-doped borosilicate glass that can sustain high optical transmission rates after prolonged exposure to UV, proton, and electron radiation in GEO conditions.
We have noticed a rise in the number of solution requests from various MEO and GEO satellite manufacturers in recent months. We are ready to support the space industrial base. Contact us today for more information.
