SQUID3 Delivers First Batch of ITO-Coated OSRs to Customer in High-Radiation Orbit

Los Angeles, CA – Protecting Satellites from Extreme Heat! SQUID3 Space, a leading innovator in satellite thermal control technology, has successfully fabricated and delivered its first batch of Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)-coated Optical Solar Reflector (OSR) tiles to a satellite manufacturer operating in MEO. This delivery marks a major milestone for the company as it continues to provide advanced thermal management solutions for the space industry.

Each OSR tile was vacuum-deposited and sputtered inside a precision-controlled vacuum chamber to achieve ultra-thin conductive and reflective coatings, ensuring optimal thermo-optical properties. Following fabrication, the OSRs were treated as flight hardware inside a Class 100 cleanroom, adhering to industry standards of contamination control for spaceflight readiness.

“This delivery demonstrates our capability to produce high-quality, spaceflight materials designed to operate in the most challenging radiation environments,” said Warren Su, CEO of SQUID3 Space. “By leveraging our expertise in materials engineering, we are enabling the next generation of spacecraft in high-radiation orbits”
